It's called "The Catch." On January 10, 1982, during the NFC Playoff Game between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, it was coming down to crunch time. The 49ers were trailing 27-21 in the final minute with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Joe Montana, the 49ers' ace quarterback, led his team down the field and, with 51 seconds left, threw a pass into the back of the end zone. Miraculously, a jumping, stretching and twisting Dwight Clark, the team's Pro Bowl wide receiver, pulled it in for a touchdown with just 51 ticks remaining on the clock. The 49ers won the game 28-27 and a couple of weeks later they defeated the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI. Joe Montana has hand signed this 16x20 color photograph.
